VBS WORK BEE

Sunday, July 13 starting at 4:00 PM we would love some help decorating Bible Adventures, Tundra Treats, and Sticky Scriptures areas and put the finishing touches in a few other spaces as well.  We've already got 40+ eager kiddos signed-up, let's create a memorable VBS experience for them here at Hood View! Pizza dinner for the volunteers at 6:00 PM.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Please prayerfully consider getting involved!   July 14-18 - 8:30-11:30 a.m.

We still need a few more volunteers to make this program a reality for kids looking forward to a great week at VBS!

Crew leaders: The crew leader leads a small group of kids through the rotations and encourages participation. No prep required. A good crew leader is a friend and helper for the kids and station leaders. Need 4 more!!!!

Bible Adventures Assistant: Assist the Bible leader, behind these scenes, in preparing and sharing interactive and engaging Bible experiences with elementary age kids. This includes setting up, and re-setting between rotations, the props used during this rotation.

Audio Team Member: Operate Sanctuary sound system for our main Sing & Play Celebration. Coordinate with visual team for sound operation with various video clips.

Sing and Play Program Assistant: The assistant aids the Program Director by preparing materials, providing a helping hand onstage, and making sure everything runs smoothly.

Medical Team Member: Help with basic first aid and basic triage for next step of care.

Sign-ups are located at the info table in the foyer!!

HAVE BIBLE QUESTIONS?: Amazing Facts Ministries International offers you an opportunity to have that bible question that has been on your mind answered.  Any age can write and ask a question. Go here:  https://www.amazingfacts.org/about-us/bible-questions.

WE HAVE SOME MEMBERS WITH FOOD ALLERGIES – especially nut allergies and food preferences making it hard to know what food dishes are safe to eat at potluck. We have some little signs that can be placed in the entrée food dishes that say Gluten free, Nut-free, Vegan, and desserts that are Sugar Free or Vegan. If you write on the foil for baked dishes the potluck hostess will know how to label it, or you may do it yourself. The signs are in the kitchen. Thank you for helping us make our potluck time enjoyable for everyone.
