Welcome to our Sabbath School Class for young people ages 10-12!
This class is designed to provide an exciting and hands-on approach to learning about God’s Word, where Bible lessons are not just heard and read, but experienced and applied to everyday life. Through interactive discussions, real-world applications, and experiential learning, we help young people build a strong, personal connection to their faith.
What We Offer:
* Bible-Focused Teaching: Our lessons are deeply rooted in Scripture, covering both Old and New Testament stories and principles. From the lives of the prophets to the teachings
of Jesus, young people will explore how God’s Word is relevant to them today.
*Real-Life Application: We understand that kids in this age group are beginning to make their own decisions and navigate complex situations. That’s why our lessons emphasize how Biblical principles can be applied to real-life challenges—whether it’s making good choices, building friendships, dealing with peer pressure, or understanding personal identity. The goal is to equip them with Biblical wisdom that helps them thrive in today’s world.
*Experience-Based Learning: This is not just another sit-and-listen class! We incorporate hands-on experiences, such as role-playing, service projects, and community-building activities that allow kids to live out the lessons they are learning. These experiences help them internalize and apply biblical teachings in meaningful ways.
*Interactive Discussions: Every class includes opportunities for discussion, questions, and sharing. We encourage our students to ask questions, share their thoughts, and explore how Biblical teachings can relate to their lives. This interactive environment
fosters critical thinking and helps students understand the deeper messages behind Bible stories.
* Building Character & Leadership: We focus on teaching Biblical values like kindness, integrity, and courage, while also empowering students to become leaders in their church
and community. Through group activities, mentoring, and challenges, young people are encouraged to step up, serve others, and develop a strong foundation for future leadership.
*Fun & Fellowship: Though our lessons are serious about faith, we know how important it is to build community. Through group activities, team-building exercises, and social events, we create a fun and supportive environment where friendships can grow and
students can learn the importance of Christian fellowship.
What to Expect Each Week:
* Bible Study with Application: Each class revolves around a Bible story or passage, followed by a discussion on how it relates to real-life situations. Students are encouraged to explore questions like, “How can this story help me make better choices?” and “What does this teach me about God’s plan for my life?”
*Experiential Learning: Expect engaging activities that encourage practical application of Biblical lessons. These may include role-playing scenarios, service projects (like volunteering or helping others), or even group challenges where they apply faith-based solutions to real-world problems.
* Group Discussions & Sharing: As part of the Bible study and activities, students will participate in group discussions, where they share their experiences and insights. This gives them a chance to process what they’ve learned and hear from their peers about how they’re living out their faith.
* Community Building & Leadership Opportunities: Throughout the year, students will have the chance to participate in leadership roles, take part in ministry projects, and be
involved in planning events that serve others. These experiences will help them grow in their confidence and ability to lead.
* Worship and Prayer: Each class includes worship and prayer time, where students can connect with God in a personal way. It’s a moment to reflect on what they’ve learned and to seek guidance for applying it in their lives.
